Hugo Pierre Leclercq is a French producer who is more commonly known by his stage name, Madeon. Leclercq first started making music when he was 11. He got his big break from YouTube in 2011, when he uploaded a video of himself performing his mash-up song, “Pop Culture.” The video quickly went viral and received six million views in a matter of days. The YouTube video was so successful that Leclercq was invited to perform at Ultra and Electric Daisy Carnival the following year. 2012 was also the first year that the artist was featured on this list. 2013 proved to be another exciting year for Leclercq, as he toured with Lady Gaga and had lots of commercial success with his music. Leclercq has announced that he will be releasing a new album in 2015.
