Hardwell Ghost-Produced a Beatport Top 10 Hit

In one of the his interviews in 2013, Hardwell confessed that he ghost-produced one of the Beatport Top Ten hits that was released under someone else’s name. Although Hardwell didn’t specify which track he was talking about and who he produced it for, he suggested that it would be very easy to understand which track it was if people listened closely to all tracks on the top 10 list. At the time, ‘#Pantsdown’ by The Partysquad and Mitchell Niemeyer was one of the leading tracks. Two clues that this track was possibly written by Hardwell – it sounds like Hardwell’s remix of ‘Alive’ by Krewella and ‘#Pantsdown’ wasn’t released on Revealed Recordings which is Hardwell’s label.
