Zedd is the stage name for the Russian DJ and producer Anton Zaslavski. Born into a family of musicians in Russia, Zaslavski moved to Germany at a young age. In 2009, he began producing and remixing music from other artists. His remix of Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” brought him international recognition and set him on the fast track to success. He has worked with many big name artists from Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, to Armin van Buurin and The Black Eyed Peas. In 2012, Zaslavski signed his first record deal with Interscope Records. 2014 saw Zaslavski continue to work with other artists and make his own music.
